GL and BOP, explained

General liability covers third-party bodily injury, property damage and, for most classes, personal and advertising injury. Per-occurrence limits are $300K, $500K, $1M or $2M, with aggregates at twice that, and the policy includes medical payments and damage to rented premises.

A BOP covers computers, furniture and valuable papers, with business income and computer interruption built in. A business owner’s policy combines liability, property and business income in one policy.
